FIELD OF APPLICATION
Used for stopping pressurised
water in cracks and joints
permanently. Because of
its flexibility, a follow
up injection with a flexible
resin is therefore not
required.
APPLICATION
Adapt material temperature
to room temperature- or
surrounding temperature.
The substrate has to be
free of loose particles,
dust, oil, grease, form
oil and other contaminants
that might affect the
bonding adversely. Before
application can commence,
grout ports (screw type
preferred) should be placed.
Mark pattern for drilling
holes; holes should be
staggered on each side
of the crack, they should
be angled 450 towards
the wall and drilled so
that they intercept the
crack in the middle. Remove
drilling dust from holes,
tap a grout port into
each hole and tighten
sufficiently. Crack openings
or voids should be sealed
using KB-Fix or similar
quick set mortars. Add
the KB-PUR 2 IN 1 B comp.
to the KB-PUR 2 IN 1 A
comp. and mix thoroughly
with a slow speed mixer
until a homogeneous mixture
is obtained (avoid mixing
humid air into the resin).
Inject the material with
conventional single component
pumps with high or low
pressure. Always start
at the bottom and continue
upwards
For injection into dry
or moist cracks, the material
can be injected in one
operation.
For leaking cracks, KB-PUR
2 in 1 should be injected
in 2 operations: Step
1.: Injection in KB-PUR
2 in 1 until foam can
be seen around packers
and crack seal. Step 2.
Within 10-20 minutes,
KB-PUR 2 in 1 should be
injected again through
the same injection packers.
Please observe the pot
life of the mixed materials.

CLEANING OF TOOLS
Immediately after use
with KB-PUR Cleaner II
or ethylene acetate, Xylol,
Toluol, MEK or other suitable

STORAGE
6 months when stored In
a dry cool place. Once
opened, containers should
be purged with nitrogen
and resealed to prevent
moisture reactions in
the containers.
