DESCRIPTION
The KB-PUR GEL is a solvent-free,
water-activated polyurethanegel.
The system only reacts
if it has contact with
water. It then forms a
highly flexible, water
impermeable structural
foam or a very flexible
gel. KB-PUR Gel is capable
of incorporating water
in amounts up to 20 times
of it’s own volume
permanently in a moisture
saturated environment.
A mix ratio of KB-PUR
Gel with water of up to
1: 15 (by volume) generates
a hydrophilic grout that
becomes resistant to pressurised
water after full cure.
It does not contain free
isocyanates and is chemically
stable after completion
of curing process. It
does not release components
that might affect the
ground water adversely.
The KB-PUR GEL does not
further corrosion and
passed the tests following
the KTW recommendations,
i.e. suitable for the
lining of substrates in
contact with drinking
water.

FIELD OF APPLICATION
The KB-PUR GEL seals the
positive side of existing
structures with ground
contact by injection from
the negative side. It
is also used to seal voids,
sleeves, pipe intrusions
and joints in masonry,
concrete and floors. Also
suitable to be injected
into highly porous and
craggy construction units.
Leaves a highly efficient
grout curtain.
APPLICATION
The KB-PUR GEL is mainly
injected with a two component
injection equipment through
grout lances. We recommend
this method in particular
for lower mix ratios and
thus shorter reaction
times (mix ratio Gel:
Water 1:10). Please ask

statement.

The reaction time may reduce
with increasing temperature,
while decreasing temperatures
retard the curing process.
