FIELD OF
APPLICATION
The Koster Silicate
Mortar is suitable
for protecting structures
against aggressive
acid attacks. Typical
areas of applications
are sewers, water
treatment plants,
waste water treatment
plants, food stuff
production where
fruit acids are
present.
SUBSTRATE
The surface has
to be clean, sound
and solid, free
of oil and grease,
laitance, paint
form oil and other
contaminants that
might affect the
bonding adversely
such as epoxy, bitumen
and other old coatings
that may be on the
substrate. The substrate
should be pre-dampened.
Smooth surfaces
should be primed
using the Silicate
Slurry. |
